Here are some of the changes in version 2.0. I will try to list the majority of the changes but I may miss some.

• Added more board and piece sets and changed the default board and pieces.
• The board files can now be only 2 squares (one white and one black). This helps save some space and make downloads a little faster.
• Custom board colors can be selected to make you own board quickly and easily
• Changed the preview feature in the game 'Options' window. It now displays the board with the pieces on the board so you can see how they look together before setting them.
• Preferences are saved in a new format so the old file must be replaced. The new preferences save a lot more options including the locations of most windows.
• The tracker is MUCH more stable now and there isn't a problem with name conflicts anymore.
• There have been so many internal changes to the tracker that make it more stable and give it some more features that I felt it deserves 2 slots.
• The tracker now also features 'news' where you can post messages for other users to read at any time. This could be nice for scheduling games and all.
• Tracker options has a "Want a Game" checkbox where if checked your name will be underlined in the userlist signifying that you want to play a game. This is of course optional.
• Added the "Show Legal Moves" feature which when enabled displays the yellow square only when the cursor is over a square that is a legal move for the selected piece.
• Fixed a bug that caused problems after attempting an illegal castle.
• You can now toggle the tracker and game sounds.

• The ability to "Watch" other games
• The ability to play/watch more than one game at a time
• Color chat in the tracker is a possibility if people think it might be nice.
• Save games in PGN format
• Compatibility with other internet chess games along with a PC version of ChessWorks
• A better rating technique. Hopefully it will correspond with the standard chess rating system (if I can find out how it works *hint hint*)
